This handmade baton stick is crafted by carving from a log of hardwood (Zelkova serrata, or Keyaki). Keyaki is known as the king of Japanese trees, boasting beautiful grain patterns, exceptional hardness, and durability. It also has excellent longevity and has been used for furniture and construction materials since ancient times. The great appeal of Keyaki lies in its beautiful grain and luster. Furthermore, as years pass, its color deepens, making it a wood whose aging process can be enjoyed.

The branched part is used, making it extra sturdy. Compared to typical baton sticks, its longer length increases striking power through centrifugal force.

We use Keyaki logs that have been dried for two years, so further cracking is unlikely to occur.
With a weight of approximately 1110g, you can easily split firewood just by swinging it down. Its weight also allows it to be used for driving tent stakes.
Due to its destructive power, we recommend using it with full-tang knives or hatchets.

Paracord is threaded through the tip of the grip, allowing for hanging storage.
It can also stand on its own, enabling storage in an upright position.
