Vincent Bach Corp Mt. Vernon NY 22 Tuba Mouthpiece
This is a Mt. Vernon model from the Bach Corp era in New York.
It's a bit hard to tell, but as shown in the third image, the shank has been thickened.
I am selling it because it was too shallow for my instrument.
When I visited a brass instrument shop in Tokyo that handles tubas, they told me that based on the taper, it appears to have been modified for a taper like Alexander's.
As a result, the overall weight of the mouthpiece is also slightly heavier.
There are minor scuffs due to use, but no scratches or dents that would affect playing.
While it is a somewhat unique mouthpiece, it still possesses the excellent qualities of a Bach from the Corp era.
