Hakukin Portable Hand Warmer
10.00 $
Description
This is a Hakkin Kairo portable hand warmer that uses benzine as fuel.
This is a retro hand warmer, the Hakkin Kairo A model, with a wick. The wick on this model is a long-lasting type, and you can use current replacement wicks (in which case, remove the ignition wick) so you can use it for a long time.
The exterior has some dullness and rust, so please check the photos.
No claims or returns accepted.
Preparation: Remove the top lid and take out the wick (catalyst part) inside.
Refueling: Insert the dedicated oiling cup into the main body and pour in benzine. One cupful (up to the upper line) lasts for about 12 hours, and two cupfuls last for up to about 24 hours.
Ignition: Replace the wick and hold a lighter or match flame close to it for about 3-5 seconds. Instead of directly igniting the benzine, this warms the platinum catalyst to start the reaction.
Usage: Since the main body will get hot, be sure to use it inside the dedicated fleece bag or cloth case.
