Description
This is an Aulos Ocarina, Alto C.
This is a used item and has been stored at home, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
(It has been disinfected with alcohol.)
*Comes with a case.
Aulos ocarinas are highly refined instruments with a clear tone that produces satisfying high notes. However, compared to other ocarinas, they require more breath and a faster airflow to achieve the powerful Aulos sound in the higher registers.
The ocarina has a flattened shape, designed to fit comfortably in the hand.
It is also unusually a fired ocarina. Aulos applies glaze to a bisque-fired ocarina and then fires it again at a high temperature. This results in a more cohesive sound compared to other ocarinas.
