This is a replacement rubber belt for DVD, Blu-ray, CD drives, and Xboxes when the tray opening/closing rubber belt slips and the lid cannot be opened or closed.
The second image shows the rubber belt being exhibited and the belt that was attached to a device where the tray could not be opened or closed due to slippage, placed side-by-side for comparison.
Most devices have a small hole under the tray, and inserting a straightened wire or paperclip into it will open the tray.
The rubber belt can be replaced through the gap or by disassembly.
(I replaced the belt using tweezers and a straightened and bent wire or paperclip through the gap opened in the tray without disassembling the device.)
This listing is for a set of 2 new rubber belts.
