Description
This is a Yashinon 45mm F1.4 lens, originally from the Yashica LYNX-14, modified for Leica-M mount.
It can focus from infinity down to approximately 35cm from the front of the lens.
The helicoid is a separate unit and rotates in the opposite direction, so the distance ring has been attached 180 degrees in the opposite direction.
It is very heavy and large.
The exterior has some dirt and minor scuffs, but no dents. The elements have a little dust, but almost no scratches, and the image quality is very clear with beautiful bokeh.
The helicoid has a slightly heavy torque, and feels a bit sticky towards infinity.
The last photo was taken with an A7S.
It does not couple with the rangefinder of rangefinder cameras and is intended for mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras.
