Set of 3! Unfinished compact telescopic rod ♪ 13 sections Factory surplus

This is a set of 3 unfinished telescopic fishing rods, each extending to 215cm with 13 sections for compact storage.

These were salvaged from a former fishing rod factory in the Kanto region.
They are believed to be mid-production, as they are missing the handle at the base and the lilian (tip guide) at the tip, which would normally be attached.

The current finish is a matte, brick-like color.
We were told that another color was intended to be painted over this as the final finish.
The surface shows some scuffs and unevenness in the paint.

Regarding the material, we were informed that the lower to middle sections are a combination of carbon and glass, while the tip sections are fiberglass. However, we are unable to verify this ourselves.

When handled, it feels like a 2-8 action rod, suitable for stream fishing or fishing for small species.

Due to being unfinished, some rods may have a slight sticking sensation when extended.

Given the nature of these items, we encourage you to:
1. Finish them into functional fishing rods and bring them back to life.
2. Use them as telescopic poles for magic tricks or as pointing sticks.
3. Employ them for Suition no Jutsu (Water Release Technique)
...or any other creative uses you can imagine.

We advise against purchasing these as fishing rods if you have limited fishing experience, simply because they are inexpensive, as you may end up regretting it.

Before shipping, we will extend each rod to check for any breakage.
However, please remember these are not ordinary fishing rods.
No claims, no returns is our basic policy.

Shipping will be via Japan Post's Click Post service.
