YAMAHA U7 Upright Piano Rare Wood Grain Ivory Keys

Wood-grain YAMAHA upright piano, U7.
This was the top-of-the-line model of its time, featuring ivory keys.
It's stylish as an interior piece and features a deep resonance like a grand piano!
Based on the serial number, it was manufactured around 1966 or 1967.
We purchased it used around 2000.
As it was originally a high-quality instrument, we believe it can regain its wonderful sound with maintenance, repairs, and tuning.
The key cover does not have a lock.
A bench is not included.
A top cover is included!

We are selling it due to clearing out belongings at my parents' home.
It has become more of an interior decoration, and it has not been tuned for over 10 years.
There are minor scratches, rust, and deterioration consistent with its age. As we cannot confirm everything, please forgive any overlooked scratches, dust, debris, or rust.
As of July 28, 2025, all keys produce sound, but the condition may change due to temperature and humidity.
When using the middle pedal (volume reduction), some notes are difficult to produce with a light touch.
Furthermore, as this is a used item in its current condition and is an antique, please understand that it is sold as-is with no claims or returns.

Below, we have uploaded reference sound recordings as of 7/28. Please use them as a reference for the sound, although the playing is by an amateur and not very skilled.

It is located on the first floor of a detached house in northern Ibaraki Prefecture, in the living room.
