Description
smc PENTAX-DA★ 50-135mm F2.8ED [IF］ SDM
This is a modified lens where the AF drive has been changed from SDM to an in-body motor drive. Pentax's SDM drive is prone to failure, so changing to a motor drive ensures reliable AF performance.
This is a telephoto zoom lens, part of Pentax's premium (Star) lens line, featuring a constant F2.8 aperture and excellent color reproduction and resolution. It's considered one of the big three constant aperture zooms.
On APS-C size cameras, it provides a focal length equivalent to approximately 75-202mm in 35mm format.
I used this lens on my K-3ii and K-5ii (APS-C) digital cameras, but I am selling it due to equipment consolidation.
