AKAI RIFF-O-MATIC U40 Ear Copy Unconfirmed Operation Junk
10.00 $
Description
This is the AKAI professional masterpiece phrase recorder RIFF-O-MATIC U40.
It's a legendary machine for musicians that allows you to slow down the playback speed without changing the pitch, making it incredibly effective for transcribing fast solos and complex riffs by ear.
[Condition and Operation: Please be sure to check]
Exterior: As it is an older item, there are some scuffs, minor scratches, and signs of use on the surface, but the lettering on the buttons is still clearly legible.
Operation: I do not have the dedicated AC adapter (DC 10.5V) on hand, so I confirmed power connection using a substitute adapter. The unit's LED lamp lit up, but there was no response to button operations.
It is unclear whether this is a malfunction due to using a non-compatible adapter or a fault with the unit itself (junk item). Therefore, it is being listed as a non-operational junk item.
How about using it for parts, repairs, or as a spare unit for maintenance?
