This is a solid-shaft type Bigfin Reef Squid gaff that attaches to your existing landing pole.
When stored, the hook tips fold into a safety cover, and the solid shaft fits neatly inside the landing pole, making it compact and highly safe.
When swung out with force, the gaff springs out and opens automatically. When it hooks a Bigfin Reef Squid, the solid shaft bends and the hook tips face upwards, preventing the fish from escaping.
