Description
This is a Tanago/Kobu-buna fishing rod crafted by Soshi Yasu.
It is a three-piece rod with a total length of 86cm and a collapsed length of 34cm (excluding the end cap).
It features a natural urushi lacquer finish.
The tip is made from whalebone, which is now rare, and the mid-section to the butt are made from Koya bamboo. The handle is shaped bamboo with麻糸 (hemp thread) wrapped around it for grip.
With these specifications, the rod has been finished to be quite soft.
Therefore, the price is higher than previous Tanago rods. However, we are confident that this quality at this price is unmatched.
