Description
Thank you for looking.
Ginza Tōsaku Yamabe Rod, 14-foot, 7 sections
Closed length: 2-foot, 3 sections
This is a Japanese bamboo fishing rod that has been stored for a long time.
It was used for fly fishing and bait fishing for fish such as Oikawa and Ugui.
It may be suitable for small Yamame and Iwana in mountain streams.
I tried assembling and casting it, and I believe the action is still good. I used it by attaching a lilian to the tip guide.
The lacquer on the butt of the rod has deteriorated and is peeling in some areas.
Some of the ferrules are stiff.
Please note that the rod bag is quite old.
This is for those who like Japanese bamboo rods and have knowledge of their maintenance.
Thank you for your consideration.
