Compatible with Wakasagi electric reels
This is a rod tip for wakasagi fishing, crafted by shaving stainless steel to an ultra-thin thickness. Its characteristic is the quick flex unique to stainless steel. The guides are also handmade. The aluminum pipe at the base has a diameter of 5mm. It can also be attached to electric reels. Bites are sensitive, and fish are less likely to come off. After use, gently wipe off dirt and allow to dry.
Photo shows weight load of 4g.
Tested in Lake Hibara. The action, bites, and setting felt well-balanced. Fishing image shows weight load of 3.5g.
You can see delicate bites that were previously invisible.
As this is a handmade item, please only purchase if you understand this. Those seeking perfection should absolutely not buy.
*When shipping, the rod tip insertion port is adjusted to fit the Daiwa Christia Variable Adapter.
It is not guaranteed to fit perfectly with all manufacturers' electric reels and rod tip insertion ports. If it is too tight for your reel, you may need to slightly shave the aluminum part of the rod tip to match your electric reel's insertion port. Conversely, if it is a bit loose, you can use a variable adapter or wrap a thin tape once around the aluminum part of the rod tip. Please purchase after understanding the above points.
