This is the first generation Gamakatsu G-Sis 33-400. Although it has been a long time since its release, it is a highly regarded rod among surf casting enthusiasts. It features a slim blank made of high-carbon material, ensuring long-distance casting performance with its supple, belly-action flexibility. It is particularly suitable for long-distance casting and kiss fishing using sinkers of approximately 25 to 35 gou. It was also used in competitive surf casting and was popular in tournaments at the time. Compared to current models, it is characterized by its softness and ease of handling, but it bends beautifully from the belly and is a very easy rod to cast, capable of reaching about 7 colors. It was in active use. After each use, it was always washed with water and maintained with Bonanza, so it is clean. However, there are some minor scratches on the rod end from being placed down, and some slight scuff marks from the line around the guides on the reel side.
