The very tip is not the original Gamakatsu part, but it was replaced with a new one after a fishing tackle shop verified a tip that was close to the original.

It had a beautiful bend when a fish was hooked and felt completely natural.

The top guide has been replaced with gold cermet, the highest grade material at the time (a composite material of ceramic and metal (titanium)).

Other than that, as shown in the images, there are minor scratches from normal use and scuffing on the grip, but it has been used with care, so there are no damage scratches that would lead to breakage.
This legendary rod, the Gamakatsu Iso Gure Special, can still be used.
