MEINL CAJON ARTISAN EDITION

This is the MEINL ARTISAN EDITION CAJON TANGO LINE. I purchased it new from a musical instrument store six months ago. The size is the same as a standard cajon. I am selling it because I am not a professional percussionist and only used it for home recording, so I don't plan to use it in the future. I have selected No noticeable scratches or dirt, but its condition is close to new.

It is made in Spain with a thin black paint finish on the wood. Subjectively, I think it looks very cool and would also work well as an interior decoration. It seems I was the last person to purchase this new in Japan, and it appears to be difficult to buy new currently (as of May 1st).

Before using this cajon, I used a Pearl one, but I was not satisfied with the sound, so I switched to this one. Even with a light tap, the bass sounds solid, making it very easy to use. Since I only used it for home recording, there are no scratches from carrying it around.

Some things in the photos might look like scratches (8th photo), but they are part of the wood grain. Because the paint is very thin, the wood grain shows through. It is not a solid black finish. Also, the white frame on the surface had some scuffing from when I purchased it. It appears to be hand-painted.

The cardboard box it came in is also interesting, as MEINL seems to have made it specifically for this purpose. I will ship the cajon in this cardboard box, wrapped in bubble wrap.
