This is a musical instrument that makes a sound, purchased at a select shop a long time ago. I bought it thinking it would be good as a baby rattle, but it has been stored at home ever since. I believe the condition is good, with no dirt or mold.

This is a percussion instrument of African origin called a Caxixi, or a similar maraca or rattle made of rattan. Features and Overview:
Material:
It is woven from rattan and cane (a plant used for making walking sticks), and gourds are commonly used for the bottom part.
Each piece is carefully handmade by artisans in Ghana. Therefore, the size, shape, color, and sound may vary for each product. Due to the use of natural materials, there may be some minor scratches.
Mechanism: Inside, there are dried plant seeds, small stones, or recycled bottle caps.
Sound: When shaken, the contents hit the woven material, producing a shakashaka sound.
