This is a very tough and easy-to-handle spinning model that remains popular as a standard for nearshore jigging.

• Guide Thread Condition:
The epoxy resin on the threads (wrapping) of each guide has horizontal cracks, which are characteristic of Daiwa rods. This is due to aging, which is very common in the Saltiga series of that era. There is no play in the guides themselves, and the cracks are not deep enough to affect actual fishing.
• Blank & Other:
There are minor scratches from use and some signs of grip wear, but no deep scratches that would lead to breakage, nor any cracks or rust on the guide rings.
• The rod has always been washed with fresh water after use and stored carefully indoors.
[Features & Usability]
This rod can easily handle jigs up to 120g and is ideal for nearshore jigging for species such as yellowtail (Mejro), amberjack, Spanish mackerel, and hairtail. Its short length makes it easy to handle, and its tenacious blank with bias construction provides reliability for unexpected large catches.
