This bespoke (highest quality full order) item often features the tailor's name on the tag, dating back to the 1950s or earlier. The tags are embroidered, and sometimes there are no labels. The matte finish of the lapel suggests a date around the ~60s (if anyone has more specific information, please feel free to share).

Vienna, Austria, has a deep-rooted tailoring culture. Bespoke vintage clothing is rare, as it is generally by appointment and costs hundreds of thousands of yen.

This tailcoat features a midnight blue, high-quality formal color body with a silk collar (facing) in black. Compared to 1920s and 30s European pieces, it has a slightly sharper peak lapel. The material is likely wool, with a heavy and elegant luster that exudes quality.

I am relatively new to suits, formal wear, order suits, and bespoke tailoring, and I am still learning. However, the hand-sewn quality, silhouette, and presence are outstanding compared to anything I've seen before.
