Eging Rod

This is a Zest Assault Jet Type S Marl Karma Nagi 77L.

Purchased around January 2025.
It was mainly used as a backup rod, so the usage frequency is low and for short periods.
Used once in the spring of 2025, once in the fall, and once in the spring of 2026.

I have landed squid weighing from 300g to 1.5kg with this rod without any issues.
Despite its slim profile, I believe it has more power than an L-class rod. It feels soft yet has a crisp, solid core. It bends well when a target is hooked, making it very enjoyable. The 77 length makes it very easy to jerk and it's light, so you won't get tired. I think the rod balance is also good. The Torzite ring guides contribute to good casting distance for jigs. I personally think the Fuji guides look cool too.

It has been glass coated and well-maintained. Of course, it has never been placed directly on the ground. There are no scratches on the blanks, tip, or guides.
It is in beautiful condition!!

I liked the luxurious feel of the cork grip, but I am selling it because I purchased a new rod. I believe the cork discoloration is still minimal. It might be interesting to enjoy its aging process from here on.

How about using it for the upcoming spring season for large squid or for fall eging for young squid?
