Rare! 1932 Manet Exhibition Catalog from the Musée de l'Orangerie. Features the first appearance of Valerie's "The Victory of Manet."

This is a labor-saving listing item from Chibinekodou.

Below, we will first briefly describe the [Individual Description] specific to this listing item, and then paste the [Common Description] for labor-saving listings, so please read to the end. (If possible, please also read the profile.)

[Individual Description]

The exhibition Manet Exhibition (1932, Musée de l'Orangerie), which remains in the history of exhibitions, is given significance from the perspective of literary or intellectual history by the text Manet's Triumph, to which Valéry contributed a preface. As those of you reading this now are all aware, this text is always included in complete works/selected works related to Valéry.

* As an item, it is not in good condition at all, as you can see from the photos. However, if it were to be discarded as is, we hope it will reach the hands of someone interested in Manet or Valéry. (The price includes the feeling that it would be disrespectful to them if it were too low.)

[Common Description for Books - ver. 2.0a]

- The photos will primarily consist of one scan of the cover image, with the expectation that the condition can be reasonably assessed from it. We will strictly select items that are unlikely to receive complaints from purchasers (at best, slightly scratched or dirty), and further explain them in writing as needed. Alternatively, if photos are faster than written explanations, we may photograph parts of the product instead of scanning.
- The price will be set with the perspective that it is better to keep the item if it were to be lowered further. Therefore, it may be more expensive than items listed on Amazon, Japanese Old Books, or other sellers on this flea market, but we will not be concerned about that. (Price reductions will be made suddenly and proactively at some point.)
- Unless otherwise specified, we will ship via Yu-Packet Post or Yu-Packet Post mini. We may also reuse shipping materials for books from Amazon, etc., for packaging, but we will not neglect measures such as simple waterproofing.
