I recently purchased it on Mercari, cleaned it with leather cleaner, and applied oil to make it easier to use.
It was listed as adult size, so I bought it for myself, but it clearly looks like it's for youth baseball. This is a very cool catcher's mitt that I hope a Hanshin Tigers fan's child will use extensively.
The leather is still very taut, which is surprising for such an old item, and it makes a great sound, making catch-playing feel satisfying.
