Handpan, Small size 49cm, D Minor 9 notes, A=432Hz, New

Handpan
49cm, 9 notes D minor
Color: Reddish-purple

Despite its smaller size of 49cm compared to the standard 56cm, this handpan is tuned to D minor (starting with the note D).

Most smaller models are tuned to G (starting with the note G), which is 3 notes higher.
This model, at this small size, has the same scale as the basic 56cm model, making it a very rare find.
It is very convenient for carrying.

The color is copper.

Tuned to A4 (note A) = 432Hz.
All modern instruments are tuned to A4 = 440Hz, but before 1939, classical music was tuned to 432Hz.
Mozart and Vivaldi composed in 432Hz.
The 432Hz tuning sounds gentler and more beautiful, with a healing effect. Nowadays, in Steiner education, children are exposed to scales with 432Hz instruments.

This is a new item, but it has been opened for photography, inspection, and cleaning.

The tuning has been checked and adjusted as much as possible.

The frequencies for each note are listed in the last image.
The center is the fundamental note, starting with D3 (note D).
The numbers below the central D3 represent the actually measured frequencies.
The range of notes can vary depending on how it is played.
The central number is the reference frequency of A4 = 432Hz.

Tuning solely by frequency can sometimes lead to a discrepancy with the actual sound.
This tuning has been done to ensure there are no audible discrepancies, within the possible range.
