This exhibition delves into the complete works of painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) through over 100 paintings, sculptures, drawings, pastels, and valuable documents from the Musée d'Orsay and Musée de l'Orangerie in Paris, France, which boast one of the world's leading Renoir collections.
This is a unique opportunity to see masterpieces by Renoir, a giant of French modern painting, including his supreme masterpiece Bal du moulin de la Galette, which is making its long-awaited debut in Japan, Country Dance and City Dance, which are being shown together in Japan for the first time in 45 years, and the little-known late masterpiece Bathers.
