This is the SANYO Pocket-Corder MC-2, an ultra-compact open-reel tape recorder released in the 1960s.
It is an extremely rare vintage item with collectors worldwide, as it is an identical model to the device used in the opening scene of the popular overseas drama Mission: Impossible.

■ Condition
Exterior: There are minor scuffs and dirt due to age, but it is in relatively good condition considering its age. (Please check the images.)
Operation: The battery holder has damage due to age-related deterioration, so we have not been able to confirm power or operation.
Current Status: This item is being sold as a junk item for repair purposes or as an antique/collectible for display.

The leather material is severely deteriorated.
