This is a very impactful and bold scarf, illustrated in a ukiyo-e style, depicting the sumo ring-entering ceremony of yesteryear.
It features the names of prominent stables such as Tagonoura, Tokiwayama, and Miyagino, and is a very rare item listing a comprehensive roster of past stablemasters representing both the West and East.
Upon closer inspection, you can also see the name Inosuke, capturing a precious scene that can no longer be witnessed today.

This is a vintage item from several decades ago, acquired by my grandmother. The source of acquisition is unknown, but it is a non-sale item that is no longer available, making it highly valuable. Scarves with a list of stablemasters are extremely rare, so I believe this to be very special. I am offering it to someone who will appreciate it.
It is made of chirimen fabric and is of very high quality.

This scarf can be used as a small furoshiki (wrapping cloth), a handkerchief, or a towel. Sumo fans can also display it in their rooms as interior decor.

Dimensions when laid flat:
Approximately 70 cm (height)
Approximately 65 cm (width)
Please note that there may be slight variations.

It is a new, unused item that has been carefully stored. However, as it has been kept at home for several decades, there may be fold creases, storage wrinkles, and minor thread fraying. We ask for your understanding before purchasing.
