Roland EDIROL RECORDER R-1

This is the R-1 portable recorder from Roland's (ローランド) brand EDIROL (エディロール).

Overview: This is a WAVE/MP3 recorder compatible with 24bit/44.1kHz, using CompactFlash as its recording medium.

Features: Equipped with an omnidirectional microphone, it allows for easy, high-quality stereo recording.

Characteristics: It features excellent analog circuitry not only for recording but also as a playback device.

There are likely many accessories included, but it's unclear if it's a complete set, so please judge from the images.

A CompactFlash card is probably inserted, but it's difficult to remove. It looks like it's almost out, but I didn't want to break it, so I left it as is. Therefore, the memory capacity is unknown ( > <; )
