Description
This is a conga from Mountain Rhythms, a now-defunct Canadian percussion manufacturer. I purchased it used and have been playing it. While there is some age-related wear on the hoops, etc., there are no issues with playability or sound.
The head was in this condition when I purchased it. There are minor cracks on the surface, but they do not go through to the back, and it can be played without issue.
The shell is made of mahogany, which is rare nowadays, and it is solidly constructed. It is heavy, but produces a very rich sound.
Personally, I preferred tuning it low.

The item will be shipped with simple packaging: the head will be protected with cardboard, and the entire drum will be wrapped securely in bubble wrap.
