Limited edition, not-for-sale tenugui from the Grand Sumo Nagano Tournament.
This is a limited edition item purchased when the Nagano Tournament was held decades ago, and it is currently not for sale. It is a rare and valuable vintage item that is rarely available. Many nostalgic names are listed, and I believe there are still many fans today.

The tenugui features names such as Chiyonofuji and Asahifuji, who were Yokozuna, and the active wrestlers Kitanofuji & Wakanohana Brother, as well as the currently very popular Konishiki and Terao, Kitōryū, and Tochinowaka. It is a valuable tenugui featuring a lineup of sumo wrestlers who were very popular and swept the nation at the time.

It can be used as a handkerchief or towel, as well as a placemat or furoshiki, making it versatile and useful in various situations.

I believe it also has high value as an antique item. It is new and unused as purchased, but has been stored at home for decades since purchase. As shown in the last two photos, there are some yellow stains. There is no problem with using it, but due to long-term home storage, it is in this condition. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about this. As it is a tenugui, there may be some loose threads or folding creases. We ask for your understanding before purchasing. Offered at a special price.
