Fujimoto Juubei Shoten Ayu Rod Tokubetsu Atsurae Honoo 630

This is an extremely rare deadstock rod.

Fujimoto Juubei Shoten is a comprehensive fishing tackle wholesaler originating from Hyogo Prefecture (later moved its head office to Gifu), with a history dating back to the Edo period. They specialize in ayu fishing tackle (hooks, nets, lines, etc.) and develop original products utilizing their unique know-how.

Material Commitment: Made with ultra-high purity carbon, designed to pursue lightness and sensitivity with the technology of the time.
Tokubetsu Atsurae Brand: This indicates a high-end, custom-order class model (Tokubetsu Atsurae) within their ayu rod lineup, particularly focused on materials and manufacturing methods.
Practical Short Length Setting: Short length models like the Honoo 630 (6.3m) are excellent for maneuverability in tributaries that are difficult to access with typical 8-9m ayu rods, small rivers with trees overhead, or as a sub-rod in strong winds.
