m*x様 Bongo (Percussion Instrument) TOCA Sheila E. Signature Se

This is a cherished instrument that I love not only for its excellent sound but also for its beautiful glittery shell. However, I haven't used it much in recent years, and I feel it's a shame to let it sit idle. Therefore, I've decided to sell it so it can go to someone who will use it.

Since this is an auction, I will start with the minimum price.

These are bongos from the brand TOCA (made in Thailand).
I have owned them for about 15 years.
I used them about 5-6 times a year. They were used outdoors a few times, but they have never been exposed to critical damage like getting wet in the rain.

-Condition-
I have been careful with the storage environment, keeping them in a dark place with no UV light, at a temperature and humidity that humans find comfortable (around 15-20°C and 40% humidity).
The sound is very good, and I feel they are in better condition as instruments than when new, having adapted to the Japanese climate.

The diameters, measured from the rim, are 255mm for the larger drum and 220mm for the smaller drum.
The total weight is 4.8kg.

Incidentally, I am the sole owner, and I do not smoke.

-Drumheads-
As shown in the photos, there is some age-related deterioration and dirt, but there are no cracks or other damage that would affect playing, and the tension of the skins is in very good condition.

-Metal Parts-
All parts are functional.
In the last two photos, you can see rust on two of the eight tuning bolts. Please be sure to check this. Of course, they are still fully functional.

-Signs of Use-
As you can see in the photos, there are small scratches in various places that do not interfere with playing.
Please only bid if you understand that this is a used item.

-Shipping-
I will pack them securely with cardboard and cushioning material to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.
I will also cover the shipping costs, even though they are high.

These bongos have been well cared for, and I hope they will go to someone who will cherish them as musical instruments for a long time.

Thank you for reading this long description to the end.
