It features an ultra-slim and ultra-lightweight blank for excellent portability. It has a flexible yet taut casting feel, and its unique resilience reduces the chance of fish escaping, possessing the rod power to withstand the pull of large rainbow trout. The Betsucho Kongo Tenkara features a traditional Japanese finish with a bamboo-colored body. In Hokkaido, many anglers use it not only for fly fishing but also for bait fishing (for rainbow trout).
