Sakurai Fishing Gear NEW Carbon Oedo Hechi Rod 2.7m

This is a Hechi fishing rod from Sakurai Fishing Gear.
I purchased it as unused last August and have used it a few times.
Some of the rod's decoration has peeled off.
The peeled pieces will be included.

It bends satisfyingly when you hook a fish.
It can firmly bend the belly of the rod and handle a 45cm black sea bream.
I tried fishing for a humphead wrasse as a test. I even landed a 65cm one.
I became interested in using it for various other fishing styles besides Hechi fishing,
so I contacted the manufacturer about the recommended line. Here is their response:

Manufacturer's Reply:
Regarding the main line, we recommend a maximum of No. 2 nylon or PE line No. 0.8. This rod has a very soft, full-flex action, so the leader strength is just a guideline.
The top guide uses a Fuji guide with a 3.0 specification, so it is not designed for very thick main lines. We hope this information is helpful.

All original accessories, including the storage case, are included.
