Slight scuff marks on the butt cap area (Photo 8).
The spigot ferrules fit snugly with no play (Photo 9).
When a 500ml plastic bottle is lightly floated, it bends into a beautiful curve (Photo 13).
No chips on the ferrule joints or missing tip section (Photo 12).

There are minor scratches from use, but they do not affect usability. As this is a Japanese rod made from natural bamboo, please understand that it may have natural blemishes and scratches from its growth.

After use, I wipe it with a tightly wrung cloth, dry it in the shade, and clean the guides with a brush before storing. I occasionally polish it with beeswax.

Shipping will be in a repurposed fishing rod plastic case or a custom-made cardboard box.

In my personal opinion, this is a lightweight and easy-to-handle Japanese rod. The fight with a hooked fish is unique to Japanese rods and is enjoyable. Recommended for those looking for a traditional short rod.

In addition to this reel, I am also selling:
Omori Hechi Reel
Kurodai Kobo Bait Box
Kurodai Kobo Athlete Reel
Sakazu Hechi Rod, Japanese Rod

If you purchase multiple items, I will offer a discount. Please comment if you are interested.
