~Product Description Below~

Master offshore squid with operability that allows for versatile jigging and a tip that maximizes sensitivity.

The Ika Special is a new high-end model for offshore squid rods. The tip features a specially designed tubular tip made of lightweight UD glass material. This achieves a lightweight tip while maintaining suppleness. It enhances both visual sensitivity to bites, which is crucial for offshore squid, and tactile sensitivity to feel the weight of a hooked squid. The blank utilizes Spiral X Core and High Power X construction to reduce rod flex, providing agile operability for versatile squid jigging and power that can handle multi-hookups of large Japanese flying squid. The reel seat, crucial for offshore squid fishing where consistent jigging is required, is equipped with the X Seat EXTREME gun grip, which dramatically enhances rod performance. The unique gun grip shape and the protruding one-sided body stabilize jigging and reeling under high load, improving comfort.
