These are PLAYWOOD flamenco castanets, model CA-121L, made of ebony and manufactured in Japan.
They come as a pair, with the castanet for the dominant hand being the higher-pitched type with a notch.
Purchased over 25 years ago, they were only tested and have never been used for lessons or performances. They have been stored at home since then.
The packaging (paper box) shows signs of age:
- Fading
- Stains
- Dirt
- Creases
Please review these details if you are concerned.
The castanets themselves have been used infrequently, but please refer to the photos for their condition.
We would be happy to pass them on to someone who will cherish them.
