Description
Hoshino Gen's essay series Inochi no Shasou Kara (From the Train Window of Life), which began in the December 2014 issue of Da Vinci magazine, has been compiled into a book with new writings.
This book captures all the thoughts, experiences, and growth from the two years of his meteoric rise, including the drama Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu (The Full-Time Wife Escapist), Sanadamaru, the hit song Koi (Love), and his second appearance on Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Festival).
This is a sincere collection of essays, pouring in all of Hoshino Gen's humor, philosophy, and precision.
They say life is a journey, and I certainly feel that way. If I were to compare my body to a locomotive, this train window is surprisingly interesting. (Quoted from Inochi no Shasou Kara in this book)
The book's design is by Yu Yoshida, and the cover and illustrations are by Sushio, who also did the character design for Kill la Kill.
