Valencia Flamenco Castanets Teak VZCA1

This is a set of flamenco castanets with a low-pitched part for basic rhythms and a high-pitched part for complex rhythms. While typical castanets are tied to the middle finger with a string, placed on the palm, and struck with the other hand, these castanets are tied to the thumb with a string, hung vertically, and struck with the remaining four fingers. Made of teak wood, they produce a crisp sound unlike that of ordinary castanets, allowing for sharp, distinct accents with each note. They can be used not only for flamenco music but also as percussion in various genres such as pop, jazz, and fusion. For example, simply adding subtle castanet accent sounds to the vocals or melody instruments in a song can significantly change its atmosphere.
