The SX-001 is a high-end model from HONMA.
The grip was replaced with an SPG grip because the standard Honma leather wrap is thin and not to my preference. I believe this will not be an issue unless you are participating in a major national competition with strict regulations. Although purchased new, it has never been used, and I kept it as a spare since I normally use SPG grips. There are no scratches on the face. The sole has some minor peeling. In any case, the sole will likely get scuffed during play, especially on the edges, except for tee shots. When I purchased it, I applied a weight sheet to the sole for scratch protection, and it seems the paint on the edges peeled when I removed it. This item is not suitable for those who are overly sensitive, but the price has been reduced accordingly.
The entire club is finished with a urethane clear coat, making the clear layer thicker than standard Honma clubs. It is also listed on other platforms, so the listing may be removed if it is reserved elsewhere.
After deducting Mercari fees and shipping costs, I will be at a loss, so further price reductions are not possible.
If you absolutely want the grip changed, please do it yourself or have it done at a shop.
Thank you for viewing. As this is a personal sale, please no claims or returns (NC.NR.).
