The Grundtone series is Kato Mallet's standard model. Models are divided by mallet head hardness, and are designed to significantly cut unnecessary overtones, allowing for consistent tone quality from p to ff.

The MW-75 is a medium-soft model, characterized by its calm tone and thick sound.

This item can be used as a solid medium mallet in an orchestra or as a mobile soft mallet in a wind ensemble. Highly recommended!
