The KAHEN system is a variable brake unit that changes braking force based on the input level during casting. During a full cast, the brake plate extends, providing strong braking power without backlash for stress-free long casts. During pitching, the brake plate does not extend, maintaining weak braking for smooth, satisfying low-trajectory pitching without compromising rotational response. This is the ultimate variable brake system for magnetic models. This variable brake unit completely balances improved castability during full casts with high responsiveness during short-distance pitching.

Furthermore, the new material G1 (G-One) Duralumin is a next-generation aluminum alloy material with approximately 1.3 times the strength of existing super-super duralumin (A7075). It offers extremely light spool response while completely eliminating any concerns about strength.

The spool bearing utilizes the Double Ball Bearing System, a next-generation bearing system with excellent rotational efficiency and durability.
This dramatically improves spool rotation startup response, enabling light, low-trajectory approaches during pitching.
