Description
This is an Auris Glockenspiel. It was purchased new about 7 years ago and was used by my children.
There is discoloration and dirt due to age-related deterioration overall, but the sound is still beautiful.
One mallet is missing, so only one is included. The box is also missing.
For shipping, it will be carefully packed with cushioning material to prevent damage.
Thank you for your understanding of this used item.
Auris means belonging to the ear in Latin.
Auris aims to awaken people's hearing through the resonance of their unique instruments.
[Auris Glockenspiel]
This glockenspiel features a bow-shaped maple base with arched brass tone bars.
Rubber tubes are used between the base and the tone bars to achieve a clear and transparent sound.
Each note resonates beautifully with a long sustain.
[Pentatonic 7 Notes]
Re, Mi, So, La, Si, Re, Mi
While typically tuned to 440 Hz, this glockenspiel is tuned to a Quint 7-note scale of 432 Hz.
This results in a slightly lower pitch and a calm, soothing sound.
*The 432 Hz model does not have text inscribed on the tone bars.
Thank you for viewing.
