It is a long-selling product alongside THICK HEAVY oil within the METHOD oil lineup. It offers a silky smooth feel with excellent overall balance of lubrication and durability, while also providing excellent responsiveness. This oil prioritizes lubricity for its oil film, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from fishing reels to bicycle parts.
To achieve a good balance of lubrication and durability, it has a low viscosity. By adding excellent chemical and physical adsorption properties in a balanced way, it achieves both a silky smooth feel and responsiveness. It is often used as a core component in custom blends.
For fishing reels, it is used on parts that require a higher level of rotation and lubrication than genuine parts. For bicycle parts, it is used on parts that require both friction reduction and lubrication. To achieve both lubrication and durability simultaneously, it uses a method that promotes lubrication by reducing friction between metal surfaces.
By using ester synthetic oil as the base oil, it achieves strong chemical adsorption and oil film properties on metal surfaces.
