SONY MSX2+ HB-F1XDJ Main Unit Only (Junk Item)

◎Crucial Information!
I have tampered with the internal components of this product!

① I have removed the cabinet (main unit cover) of this product multiple times.
② (Inside the computer) I removed the metal cover above the disk drive. I have left it off even now, nearly 20 years later (the FDD cover and screws are still removed... see photos 3 and 4).

I have not touched the cables, the drive itself, or any other internal parts or wiring.

This is the extent of the modifications I have made to the product. In short, I removed the main unit and FDD covers.
However, please be fully aware that I, who know nothing about hardware and am technologically inept, have tinkered with the internals of this item.
I am truly sorry. I had no choice, as the floppy drive wouldn't work at all otherwise.

③ Furthermore, I have not reinserted one of the screws on the main unit (the screw is included... see photo 5... I was worried about stripping the screw hole... I was afraid of damaging it).

In addition to that...
④ The FDD is completely silent. Does it prefer silence? (Before the drive broke, I was able to enjoy games properly, about 20 years ago).
⑤ Keyboard. Many keys are completely unresponsive or difficult to press!
⑥ The ROM cartridge slot 2 insertion point is significantly chipped (see photo 6).
⑦ It is unknown if the ROM cartridge functions (as I do not own any ROM cartridge games. In fact, I have hardly ever played ROM cartridge games).
⑧ The screw holes on the main unit may be somewhat stripped.

I will write about other issues in the photos, so please be sure to read those as well (This time there's a tremendous amount of information!!).

The only good thing is that the famous FM sound source thing on the XDJ has been repaired.

Also, I will not be accepting price negotiations. It's a broken machine that nobody is likely to buy anyway...

⑨ I just tested the beep, PSG, and FM sound sources at maximum volume, but they sounded quiet. This might be my imagination, or there might be an issue with the TV.

This is a product with considerable issues.
Nevertheless, to anyone who has the confidence to repair this MSX, please, someone, save this little one!!
