【New Strings Attached】Okinawa Sanshin Set, Snake Skin, Reinforced, Buffalo Horn Plectrum Included

This is a Sanshin (Okinawan three-stringed instrument) received several years ago through Okinawa's Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) program (for approximately 300,000 yen).
I kept it carefully, hoping to learn to play it someday, but I ended up not having much time and it mostly just sat on display.

I feel it's a shame for the instrument to remain unused, so I would like to pass it on to someone who will enjoy playing it.

This Sanshin is called reinforced skin (kyoka-bari), which means it has a base layer of cloth with genuine snakeskin layered on top.

It has the realistic texture of real leather but with almost no worry of it cracking due to humidity like real leather, making it a best of both worlds specification. This allowed even a beginner like me to handle it with peace of mind.

For this listing, I have replaced the strings with new ones, as shown in the photos, so you can start practicing as soon as it arrives.

I am also including authentic water buffalo picks. They fit the fingers better and are easier to play with than plastic ones.

[Set Contents]
Sanshin body, water buffalo picks, soft case (can be worn like a backpack), tuning whistle, instruction manual, position stickers, etc. Everything shown in the photos will be sent as a set.

I cherished it, so it is generally in good condition, but please understand that it is a used item that has been stored at home.

Thank you for your understanding.

I will pack it securely with bubble wrap and cardboard for shipping.

Thank you!
