Okinawa Sanshin - Habu - Favorer

This sanshin is crafted from high-quality striped ebony wood used for the tokobashira (pillar).

The model is the Favela, a style favored by connoisseurs, known for its unique atmosphere in the ten (head) and hato-mune (dove's breast), and is said to be the oldest sanshin model.

From a distance, it appears black, but a beautiful striped ebony pattern is visible from the ten to the core.
The finish is also very beautiful.

Normally, this model is made slightly smaller, but this one is made a bit thicker.
However, the nomaru (the part where the strings are attached to the body) is skillfully finished, making it comfortable to hold for anyone.

The chiiga (skin) is reinforced genuine skin, but it is a custom-made, slightly thinner chiiga to match the棹 (neck).
Although it is reinforced, it produces a light and clear tone, perhaps due to its compatibility with the chiiga's shape. (Personal opinion)

A tiiga (headband) is not included, so please attach one of your preference.
