This is a great deal on a sanshin.
Neck... The neck may appear black in the photos, but it has a slight reddish tint.
I apologize that it doesn't show up clearly, but there is a small paint chip around the 11th photo. It has been touched up and is not noticeable. It did not affect playing. There are no cracks in the wood itself.
Other than the above, there are no major damages, and in my opinion, it is not particularly noticeable.
The neck alone weighs 472g, which is quite heavy for this price range.
Snakeskin... There are no signs of tearing.
This is also my personal opinion, but it has a sustained sound typical of 1-ply skin and resonates well. Personally, I don't think the reinforced back has any effect at all.
Case... It is a semi-hard case. It shows signs of use, but is still usable.
Both the sanshin and the case are used and have signs of use as described, so I have set the price low. I think it's a better deal than buying an entry-level model at a considerable price, especially with the 1-ply skin.
