Yonashiro Sanshin - Chan-gu - Yaeyama Blackwood - With Ujilami - Ultra Rare
This is an introduction to a Yonashiro Sanshin, likely made by Kyan, from around the mid-Showa period, identified by the mark on the core.
It is very easy to play and has a soft, healing tone that is very pleasant, making it suitable for both classical and folk music styles.
There are no issues with warping or twisting.
The shaping of the hato-mune (pigeon breast) and the curves are particularly magnificent.
With a recent refinishing, this mid-Showa period Sanshin has been restored to like-new condition. The mouthpiece is secured to the core with tape.
This is a historically valuable Kyan Ko-Yonashiro Sanshin, why not take this opportunity to own it? Thank you.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive or concerned about minor details.
