Description

This is a pick for the Sanshin, developed by Mr. Shinzato of Urumaya. It features tips (vertices) at different angles, allowing you to switch between them to match the tempo of Okinawan Sanshin songs. The tips range from acute angles (e.g., for slow Nage-uta songs around 60 bpm) to obtuse angles (e.g., for up-tempo Kachāshī songs around 140 bpm). With this single pick, you can handle songs at various tempos. It produces a clear sound for Nage-uta and allows for fast playing without snagging the strings during Kachāshī.

Size: 50mm (height) x 37mm (width) x 15mm (thickness)
Material: Acrylic
Color: Transparent

If you would like to hear the sound, please search for Urumaya and pick on YouTube.
